Default Bullit intake manifold

Will an aluminum intake manifold from a 2000-2003 Bullit fit on a 1998 Mustang GT?

No it will not, it only fits PI heads, but if you have the PI head swap, I hear amazing things about this combo, like 85 rwhp gain with both!

i thought the bullit intake just made good hp if your FI. not if your na. BUT, it may perform better since it is on a non pi motor w/ pi heads. increased compression, add some vt 2's.....mmmmm

i think your still looking at around 35-40 horse though

You'll need to do the P.I. headswap. Overall it's a better intake since it's made with aluminum and optimized for torque (it also accepts a cobra type Throttle body). The hp/torque isn't that much higher but it is higher and over the entire RPM range. Your best bet is to get ported P.I. heads w/bullitt intake and more aggressive cams. That's where the big gains can be found.

Ok so if I get a pair of the PI heads and the bullit intake manifold, will they all just bolt up or will I have to get other little parts to make it work?

PI heads, the Bullitt intake if you go with that and the TB to match. You will need some PI cams, or aftermarket cams for serious power. I have heard stories of 45-50 rwhp gain alone from the PI head/intake swap, because on the non-PI motors it raises compression to 10.5:1. But with the Bullitt and some good cams it would be close to 80. The PI swap is one of the best mods for our cars, besides blower or nitrous.

You will also need a new dipstick tube and coolant tube along with new head gaskets and bolts.

That plus install is where the money really starts to rack up, you can get used 99+ heads/cams/intake for like $350, but after gaskets and install you're looking at over a grand but TOTALLY worth it. I'm doing it in the future, but thats what all us 96-98 GT owners say, lol.
