yeah i got a K&N you only notice that swooshing sound on mustangs but on other cars the CAI makes the car louder on accelerationfrom what ive seen

my car got louder when i put my jlt rai, i took vids to make sure i wasnt just thinking it. the exhaust also burbled a little bit more

Sometimes the exhaust note changes but not because of increased hp. Sometimes the air filter can be extremely clogged and restrictive because of it. The CAI if brand new can let the engine 'sound' like it is supposed to in the first place because of the new air flow.
