zohmygawd...

just get thevacuum linegoing to the brake booster. You know what that is right? It's got the master cylinder (a thing with a cap on it that you put brake fluid in) on it. It's on the drive side and all you do is take off the hose clamp to it and take the thing off.

If you're not sure if you have the right line, start the car. If it's sucking air in, then you probably have the right one.

I'm not sure about your 96, but I know that the 99-04 GT's do not have a vacuum line to the booster. They have a hydra boost that works off the power steering pump.
