Buying a Procharged GT
Hi guys, I'm going to go look at this 2000 Mustang GT 5spd Procharged with a Stage III intercooler, 373's, Chip, programmer and dyno tuned.
What should I look for? I don't want to be buying this and then the blower is messed up. Is there anything I should look for? Anything I should test out? Thanks

Do you live in the San Francisco Bay Area, CA? If you do, or are willing to make the drive, whats the info on your car? And do you have any pics? And also, why are you selling?

82,000 miles on it, he says the blower has a few thousand miles on it. I remember hearing something about shaft play or something. I'm just lookign for clues that will let me know if something is broken or not especially since I have never seen a blower in real life (=\).

You're RollingThe Dice if you do! As when buying a car from anyone, take a good look at what you're buying. Take someone who will give you an honest opinion and don't be afraid to ask the seller tough questions. You know you can't fall for theline, "I never really got on it". If he/she says that, then ask him/her what the hell did they get the s/c for? If you do decide to pull the trigger on the deal, just know in the back of your mind that the car has probably been punished at some point and time.

RE: Buying a Procharged GT
After seing what my engine went through and still runs, I would be really weary of buying a non-factory supercharged car. Nobody puts a blower on a car and doesn't beat on it. I don't care if he's 80 years old. The car has seen its share of punishment. But so have most mustangs in existence regardless of what mods it comes with.
Its kind of a toss up. I would definitely inspect every inch of that car before I made any deal.
