When I swapped out my NPI to my PI engine. After the tune I gained 81rwhp. YES you should do it. I got everything that you would get plus ECU, w/h, Trans, COP, EVERYTHING. The only thing I used was the Engine. YOu'll need to keep your coil pack/wires setup. It wont be cost effective to try and swap to the COP set up because not only will you have to change the W/H but you need the ECU, Key with the correct PATS code (security key). The only thing you'll use is the engine. And you will need a new clutch because the 00 is a windsor and the NPI is a romeo.

Yes the fuel lines and wiring harness, you keep using. Just think of it as if your just replacing the NPI with another NPI. The alternator and acc. from the new engine you'll use. If you don't want to open your HVAC system just unbolt your air dryer/compressor leaving the lines connected and rebolt it to your new motor. Which is what I did. It's easy money. I've done this on a few of my friends NPI cars. I've even done a few 4v cobra engine conversions. Which is also easy.
