How do you remove the radio?

How do you remove the radio?
I'm actually trying to remove the center console trim piece with the two AC vents because I need to replace a bulb behind the AC controls. All the guides I've read said you have to start with the radio and it should use radio remover keys but there's no visible slots for anything to slide into

What year?
If it's the '99-'04, you have to first pop the shifter trim off. Unscrew the shift ****, and then start taking the plastic trim all around the shifter off. It's just held in by a few clips...pull firmly, but not too hard. Then disconnect the connection for the power port...all you have to do is push a little tab down (with a small-bladed screwdriver maybe) and pull the connection out. You should then be able to remove the shifter trim.
Next, remove the trim from around the vents, heater controls, and radio. It's all just clipped in, so grab it and pull firmly...just be careful. Once the clips are free, then remove the connections for the rear defroster, trac control, and fog lights. For those, just push a tab in and pull it off. Start with the traction control one...once that's free, you'll have more slack in the other two.
Once the trim is cleared, then you can take the radio out...it's just held in by two 7 mm screws. Don't know why you'd need to remove that to remove the heater controls, but whatever...they are two separate units...I believe the heater control is also held in by the 7 mm screws. And the whole unit should then just slide out.

RE: How do you remove the radio?
Well if I don't need to remove the radio then I won't. Another guide I read was for 94-99 mustangs and it said you remove the radio first by using two U shape ford keys and after that there are screws and bolts that access the rest of the trim.
I'll try to remove the shifter trim but thats alot of work lol. I don't even have the proper size screw driver to unscrew those screws.
