are there any standard "reliability mods" that are common for 4.6s? Yes, I'm a newb. I'm asking this because I'm a rotary guy, and if you want any kind of reliability out of those engines(13b) you have to do a few things.. From what I've read the 4.6 is pretty reliable, but with a background in rotaries I think anything that will increase engine life is well worth the time/money.

I also have a 01' gt auto, I am installing a transmission cooler (they are cheep and will increase the life of your trans) and a shift kit. I would suggest to anyone with a auto to at least add a aftermarket cooler to it and if you want it to be a lot more fun to drive add the shift kit
