Tire sizes and wheel offset question
I have an 03 gt and I just bought 20x10.5 w/275/30r20 for rears and 20x9.5 w/245/35r20 for the front. the wheels have a +35 offset. Do you think they will rub? I am gonna test fit to find out but it is still snowing over here. If any one knows i am curious to here

RE: Tire sizes and wheel offset question
Those tires aren't nearly wide enough for those wheels. Plus the fact that 20's on a New Edge look ridiculous. 18's are the biggest you should go with unless you have an S197.

No offence, but that car will look like one of those little kid cars you see in the toy store that plays music, it will look pretty silly.
To each his own I guess, but you should have stuck with 18". 20" are pushing it on a '05 and up, and it needs to look right to pull it off, most cars I have seen don't.

RE: Tire sizes and wheel offset question
The stock offset for mustang wheels is about +24 or +26. Your wheels will sit inboard a little bit at +35, so i'm thinking they won't rub. The width is fine too, a lot of people have 10" wides in the back. Just check the diameter, i think stock diameter is about 27".

RE: Tire sizes and wheel offset question
I have been looking at what will fit my 04GT for the past few weeks and this is what I know. The stock wheels on my 04 are 17x8 with a +24. If you move to 10.5in wide your offset should not go higher than +28. Remember when the offset is higher, then the wheel in moving further underneath the car. With a 10.5" you are adding 2.5" in width but 1.25" is going under the car and with your +35 you are moving the wheen in another .433". In all you are adding 1.68" inside. Your tire is also the wrong size for the 10.5" rim.If the installer can get the bead to stick, the sidewall will be pushed way out and look really funny. The toy car analogy was very real. A 275 is perfect on a 9" rim and very nice on the stock 8". The 245 is perfect on the stock 8". The 9.5" rim with the +35 offset may fit but will be very dangerous. The inside of the rim will be 1.2" further inside the car. That will put it right up against the suspension and brake cable.
All in all the math for what you got doesnt add up.
Good luck.
