what year is your car? I was about to run NGKs on my windsor 00 too but it had more threads.. a lot more threads thanthe head and a lot more threads than the old plug had. I took it the heck back and got some autolites, i wasn't risking a blow out.
I think the newer stangs 01.5+ have more threads on their heads though.

Motorcraft ASF32C copper plugs if you are NA.

http://www.spark-plugs.org/motorcraf...0W9FAHWID.html

NGK TR6 if you are FI.

Forget the exotic plugs.

More threads is BETTER.

Ford went to the plug with more threads to help prevent blowout.

Motorcraft ASF32C

I bellieve the 'F' means full length thread.

More threads may be better on a head that HAS more threads-i just did not feel comfy putting those NGKs in.
The NGK had 300% more thread than the autolites! i just don't feel they belong on a 99-00
