Hi all - done some searches but can't find what I am looking for, in my searches or the sticky. I have a '99 GT with a bumper that has seen better days, so I am putting a Cobra front bumper on. I already have a 2000 Cobra R hood. Does anyone have a step by step for the removal and install of the bumper, so I don't screw this up? Would be most appreciated...

i think its a pretty easy process, just a few screws in the fenders and the rest is clips? i havent done it before but i think i read somethin about it before.

Thanks. I just want to know where the bolts and clips are so I don't force anything. If anyone has specifics, that would be v. cool...

i've read somewhere that you have to drill out holes somewhere in the fender for it to fit...but there are quite a few threads about cobra bumper installations

You need to drill holes in the mounting points under the hood about 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch back from the original to let the hood close properly

I can't find any of these threads about the install. I have the 2000 Cobra R hood on my car, which seems to flare up a bit where the mounting points would be...so I am wondering if I might even be able to get away without the relocation of these...

You don't say if it's a 1999-2002 front bumper or a 2003-2004. Hopefully it's the 99-02 because of the R Model hood.
