The Tri-Ax is great, but if you want the shifter to sit closer to you then you NEED a Steeda Comfort Pro Shift Handle. It puts the shift **** MUCH closer, yes closer then the Tri-Ax. Take it from me it is worth the added expense

Pro5.0 were much more popular in the 5.0 community, but work very well on these cars too. I just don't think that many people have them on here. I love mine. I have never felt a shorter throw than the Pro5.0

edit: but i have to agree, go with what you can get a deal on. There isn't a huge advantage either way, they are both good shifters.

Yea, thats the same thing Im doing starting off the spring season with a short throw.
