The Tri-Ax is great, but if you want the shifter to sit closer to you then you NEED a Steeda Comfort Pro Shift Handle. It puts the shift **** MUCH closer, yes closer then the Tri-Ax. Take it from me it is worth the added expense

Pro5.0 were much more popular in the 5.0 community, but work very well on these cars too. I just don't think that many people have them on here. I love mine. I have never felt a shorter throw than the Pro5.0
edit: but i have to agree, go with what you can get a deal on. There isn't a huge advantage either way, they are both good shifters.

Good post man. I'm in the same boat. Looking at getting one within the month to start off the spring season. Tri-Ax looks like the way to go. Have fun.
