excessive motorsports in manassas is the stang shop i'm referring to as the place that deal ONLY with stangs. they had complaints with motive before, which is why they don't use them now and only FRPP. they also stopped carrying procharger and all nitrous kits but NX cause of customer complaints and issues with the stuff.

Maybe they didn't install them right, maybe the gears have changed since the past... who knows? I'm arguing for motive based on results I see now. And mustangtuning supplies several speed shops, racers, and hobbiests from all over the country.

fair enough. i'm just arguing based on what i was told by performance shops. i'm sure things have changed and they are better. they may be better than FRPP for all i know now. that's what the guys there carry and will only carry. they said it was the best, so that's what i got and that's what i'm gonna preach. just like people preach what exhaust they have. everyone is gonna love the sound of the particular exhaust brand they have. doesn't mean the others sound bad.

I like anything that shows the best improvement. FRPP is a good *** company....obviously...duh.

Oh and about the T56....too much money for the performance, I would just get a TKO. It can take more of a beating!

i don't want to sound picky but given the choice between something made for mustangs by ford racing and something made by other companies.......i'm going to chose the parts made by ford. just my personal choice. money isn't too big an issue in the gear deal. i'll pay the extra. but what i wondered was what is the best size gears for a lot of highway driving. i drive from here north eastern PA to michigan about 3 times a year and to baltimore about 4 or 5. so i'm on the e-way a lot.

I would go with 3:73s if your that worried about gas. I went with 4:10s and on the freeway im about 400rpms above what i was with a stock gear its worth the extra gas to me.

what kinds of differences do you guys running 4.10s see from what you got on stock gears. I have 4.10s in my car (fairly sure, i bought the car this way) and i get about 15~16 mpg usually, in a mix of town/highway. what have you guys experianced when changing from stock, to 4.10s, and the difference between 3.73s and 4.10s....
thanks

something dawned on me. i'm at 70 when i'm at 2000RPM on my stock gears.........maybe they're not stock? i bought it used so i guess it's possible that they're already modded.
