Default Exhaust Fitment Question

I was thinking of switching my exhaust from my flowmater CB to a SLP LM1's and i had one question. When I look for the CB for my car which is a 98. Most sites show the catback for 94-97. I was wondering why that was. I hope it's just a hanger is diff or something. I was just wondering this becuz if i buy a 94-97 kit how hard would it be to install. I saw AM has a 98 GT/Cobra but Jegs doesn't offer it. Any answer would be appreciated.

if anything you can use a 99-04 i know that for sure, you just have to weld hangers on in a different place but the fitment of the actual pipes is the same.

But I get a good deal at Jegs so I'm not sure exactly what I'm doing yet.
