Default 2v coolant mod

I am not debating it's effectiveness, only it's proper placement.

With the cool passage tapped on the back of the intake (not the head) which is the best place for the return passage; the opposite side of the intake with a T fitting OR in the front of the intake.

Now you're implying nobody here has a clue, so who is going to want to help?

I tapped into the return line of the waterpump with a T fitting (on the rubber hose). The metal line runs under the intake then intake a rubber hose that is the hose that I T'ed into.

I did it the way you did it.

Have you had anyone tell you that it doesn't create a constant flow through the engine and that it's not effective? Thats what I was told.

Also someone on another forum said that if you delete the Heater system all together it frees up 10+rwhp because the water is flowing in a continous dirrection with no presure/dirrection interuptions. any thoughts??

even deleting the water pump completly won't make 10 more WHP, let alone just removing the heater system.

Mike I did a lot of research before doing mine. Some people prefer to do it like I did and some prefer to do it from the back of the head... and others (instead of T'ing into the water pump line) tap into the aluminum coolant crossover. I think it's like the 4.10 vs 3.73 vs 3.90 debate, they are all better than stock and everyone will tell you that what they have is best.
