Default Setting Cam Timing on a Windsor Block

I am setting up my heads on a 2000 block. I have been to how to do it on a Romeo and I just didn't know if it was the same way. I read OxfordGT's write up and was going to follow his directions but the cam gears are different and I just want to make sure you set it the same way....

I set mine up like the haynes manual said to do it and it never specified to do this on romeo or this on windsor, so if you found a good write up it should be the same.

Search on yahoo for "How to time 4.6 motor" or something like that.

Eventually, one of the first links should be to modulardepot......and it'll be

How to Time the 4.6 Motor.

Pics, walkthrough..

much easier than it seems to be

You time a windsor the exact same as a romeo. Same engine just different cam gears but only because the windsor is pressed on and not bolted on like the romeo. Do it just like my write up.
