I'm gonna hopefully run my car this wednesday and then compete in the high school drags this sunday, so if I could get some opinions about this it would be appreciated.

I always try to go with between 1/2 and a 1/4 tank. This way I have plenty of gas to burn, and the few extra pounds (7 gallons of gas weighs approx. 56 lbs) doesn't hurt ET's. I have gone with 1/4 before and regretted it because I could only get in about 5 runs without worrying about running out of gas on the way home.

Thanks for the post all venom. Right now I'm just under a qtr tank left so I'm going to try and have just under half a tank going into the drags on sunday. My high school has won the past 3 years so I hope to continue the tradition

haha I don't know when they started it here but it's a huge event. This is my first year going so I hope I do alright.
