you can use the spare jack, use wat ever method you want to jack the car up, you don't need a good jack.
All you need is jack stands.

It doesn't matter if you wont make the money back or not(jack stands are cheap anyway) what matters is that it's your car, and you should be changing your own filter. This is basic maintanence. Waxing, routine maintanence, etc. Is like making love, but with your car..you'll feel a better connection after you do it.

dude, just back the car onto ramps...

normal every day ramps..

its a 5 mintue job

I'd have laughed at the mechanic that even told you he'd charge for it... he should have just told you it took 5 minutes,

Snap on, push in, pull out, put it, snap on

done
