Just to throw it out there I have an Edelbrock Performer 400 that I'm selling and it fits the 400M engines. PM me if interested.

ha......ha.......i also got a c6 and ford 9" rear but the install of the motor is my main concern,it's a big *** engine for a smallblock and i'm gonna fab a sheetmetal style intake or copy abud moore box 'cuz my idea for my car is so unorthodox i can't seem to find much help in undertaking this campaign...the motor is a runner but it's coming apart anyway for obvious reasons,it's out of a 79'lincoln mark v and i had a crazy notion to cut the motor mounts out of the frame and i could weld them at a chosen height and distance....i dunno i'm just trying to figure this out to get some sort of direction...i like this motor and the whole cleveland history behind it,,,4" bore with a 4"stroke in a block that accepts cleveland heads.[sm=gears.gif]

Man to be honest it does sound like a real cool idea that would be wild to see under the hood. Gonna have your hands full thats for sure best of luck though. Your gonna have to do some serious fab work ahead of youi would assume. Why not drop in a stroked and poked 5.4? I think that will drop right in. Will have to get custom long tubes though if im not mistaken[8D]

Too be honest with you it nots gonna be worth it. IF you do search about them in the 5.0 section you will find tons of threads about how much torque they make but have no power anywhere in there.
