Default Decking it out this summer

hey guys, long story short i decided to keep the mustang and not sell it this summer because my fall job fell through so i won't be able to afford the car payments, but i will have the down payment money to deck it out a little bit. I am looking to do just the basic bolt-ons like CIA (waste of money but everyone else has one haha), UDP, LT headers (either BBK or Pacesetters), electric cutouts into a catted midpipe (you might tell me to just go with an off-road midpipe, but i live in pa so i have to get my car inspected every year), plenium and throttle body, some lowering springs and maybe some control arms to compliment the springs and 3.73.

but i have a couple of questions. when i got the plenium and TB, what size should i get (70 or 75) and should i get it ported and polished before i put it on. what springs should i get? i am looking for something that lowers it but still has driveability on the street. please don't tell me to go bigger on the gears cuz i know people love big gears but i do a lot of highway driving.

keep in mind that i have 98 manuel. thanks guys

how much money are you planning on spending. i think with the amount you are going to spend you could complete the pi swap or buy a pi motor. with all these mods you are still going to be pretty slow and be dissapointed. i know iwas

i was going to do the pi swap the summer after i graduate... i was thinking about a pi swap... i am looking to stay around the 2500 range, but i get labor for free cuz my cousin is a mechanic and said that he wouldn't charge me as long as i helped him, which i want to do anyways. but the other things about the pi swap is that i am looking to get it turboed summer of 2009 so i am trying to set myself up nicely for that now so i don't have to do as much later. also i don't want to do stuff half-a$$ed you know. when i get the pi intake and heads i am going to get them ported and polished before i put them which also increases the price of the pi swap a decent ammount

then if you are wanting to turbo you wont want to do the pi swap because it bumps the compression up which is bad for boost but good for nitrous

Well ull have more power with PI heads regardless of what u add on, but if ur asking if a PI swap will get better gains that a supercharger the answer is no.

You won't be able to use the LT headers you want with a turbo either.

If you are seriously considering a turbo in the near future, keep saving your pennies for a built 99+ long block and do it right.
