Well I went with MD's suggestion and got the NGK Coppers. They only cost $1.54 and he said they wont last much longer than 15000 miles because they are performance oriented and not for milage.

Where can I get about 8 of those NGK coppers? My local Auto Parts never heard of them?

I use NGk "V" plugs. Steeda has a ton of them on their shelves for all year Mustangs.

Interesting new plug just out on the market: http://www.autofieldguide.com/articles/020503.html

Yeah not well advertised at all. The guy tole me he had never heard of them either. They didnt have them in stock and had to order them. Tell the guy at the parts store to scroll ALL the way down on his computer and he will see them. Thats where they were on Advanced Autos computer.

I'm using NGK TR6.... NGK copper plugs work really well with mustangs. I've heard of people ditching Denso Iridiums for NGK coppers w/v grove.

Do you have a blower? Why are you using the TR6's? They are like a two step colder plug and more commonly used with FI applications. I use the TR55 stock number 3951 gapped at .54.

read my sig. I've got a Saleen series IV(whipple) twin screw supercharger (9.5 lb of boost), came with a water to air intercooler (garret intercooler inside the manifold which is made of copper instead of aluminum for ultra conductivity). It's a great blower which suffers from a really poorly flowing intake manifold which has too many turns and pretty narrow runners. stock S281SCs very in rwhp from 305-345 with this same blower(Mine dynoed at 327 rwhp and 341 torque when the only mod on it was the blower, stock air filter snorkle and all) Partially because they upgraded to the copper intercooler at some point and also because there were problems where the intake manifold did not line up correctly to the heads. Saleen is to blame for the intake manifold and thus the fact that it's not seeing equal or better than Keene Bell numbers with the same displacement\same type of blower. I'm hoping to purchase a ported intake manifold soon along and a new heat exchanger in the front to get those temps even lower. an 03 front bumper would certainly help more air to get in their but the steeda front splitter on the GT looks so damn hot.
