On a manual transmision?
Yea- they are called Hex, or Allen keys.
Your next question is probably going to be how to add the fluid in, seeing that you have an 00 GT.. you'll need to buy a kit from Napa or somewhere, - it's a long, clear hose, with a pump or something of that nature at the end, when you squeeze the trigger, orpump, with one side of the hose inATF,it sucksthe ATF up in a air tight seal and directs it where ever you choose..kinda like a siphon for a gas tank. costs about 5 or 6 bucks.
Or you can take your shifter bezel, etc. out and pour it from up top.

Both of those plugs just use the bare end of any run of the mill socket. I changed mine yesterday. You will need the syphone and even then it's a little bit tight but do able. Takes 3.25 qts. Good Luck

thanks guys.
it's not a hex or allen key.
it's square.
it does look like the end of a socket wrench (sorryi don't know the term for the tools).
but i need to know what size?

Ohh! Crap- i'm so sorry- yea, it's not an allen- it acceptsa standard 3/8" drive ratchet.
and Yes- the specified transmission fluid for the T45 in your car is Mercon V ATF.

You need one of these, with no socket at the end

I used Mobil 1 synthetic. It says on the bottle that it is Mercon/Ford approved or something like that.

Even better...

Howd you fill it? I made myself one of my own tranny fillers... Long *** rubber hose, a brass fitting on one end (forget the thread #) to screw into where the plug went, and a funnel at the top
