Default Tuning the car today...

With my DiabloSport.

Gonna do:
93 octane tune and bump the timing up all the way
Shut off rear o2's (****in code) so i can pass inspection
move shift points a bit later (tranny already shifts hard the way it is, not gonna **** with the pressure)

What else would be a good idea? All i have modwise is a midpipe, but ill be getting a 75mm tb and plenum in a month or so.

Bumping timing and running the 93 tune? Is that safe? I'm new to making your own tunes with a tuner, so can anyone explain this and what I should and shouldn't do for power when my diablo tuner comes?

dunno about timing but bump in octane should be fine. i don't know if you really need a 75mm TB either if you don't have any heavy duty mods, but hey its your car, but IMO i would just go with a 70mm. if you do i hear BBK is good and (i forget the site) but you can actually get a bbk TB and plenum in the same package and save yourself some money

Im gettin a C&L tb and plenum (75mm) for about 210-250.

And we tuned the car, didnt touch the shift points tho. Kinda hard to notice a difference in power when you're sitting there spinning the tires. [&:]
