Default PULLEYS

Are underdrive pulleys worth the $200 for supposedly 8-10HP?

The way I see it....
Every little bit adds up!

You could always stick it in savings for a S/C, but, like me, I'm not in the market for one until after college!

UDPs are junk if you ask me. If you want to gain a few honest hp from reducing the pulleys parasitic loss, look into a mezier electric water pump. UPDs aren't worth the money or install time for the meezly 1-2 hp that you gain. And not to mention that you can't run them if you ever do get a blower down the road.

how i see it: just about every bolt on for our cars is about the same...200 dollars for a few horses.

is/are any of them worth it? as stated above, it all adds up.

you can think of it like this too.... say you raced a stang that had all of the same mods that you have now, and it was a close race, but you lost. i bet you would have got him, if you would have had the pulleys, and he didnt. just a thought...

Ever little bit does count, but the 1-2 hp you gain isn't gonna be the deciding factor in a race.
