Default Joe’s verdict

Ok, after much debate, and even though the customize choicebeat out the supercharging on the poll, I am gonna supercharge the stang via a vortech.

Im gonna get the v-1 s trim with an 8# pully and a Steeda power pipe to pump out 10#'s of boost total. In addition I'm getting 42# injectors, a 255# fuel pump, and a lightning mass air meter. As soon as I pay for it (next week I believe) Im gonna get it drop shipped to me from Tim at T&J here in GA just above Atlanta. When I get everything installed Im gonna trailer my car to them to have it dyno tuned. They're gonna correct the speedo for the 4.10 gears and tune everything via a computer reflash (no chip, which is better because its an adaptive tune). And guess what... the total cost for everything including all parts and the dyno tune is... $3750! With my full exhaust I can expect 400 rwhp or so with a safe tune.

P.S. Veronica is still a little pissed about it but I'm working on that part

MD ..I have a brand new 2002 lightening maf if you need it.
let me know on the 42's as I can find you a nice low miles set
as for the power pipe a few other people make the pipe now for about 50.00 less
also you'll need a 70-75mm throttle body
you might want to get a high flow intake to round out the deal...

I was gonna pay 500 bucks for the lighting maf, injectors, and 255# pump. The power pipe was gonna cost me 190 by itself.

Good luck with the 4.10's. Guess you'll be learning to shift all over again. You should be good for 400RWHP. Im running 7psi boost and im 15hp shy of 400. Are you planning to intercool or water injection?

Dude your ride is going to haul *** in a major way!

$3750 is a great price for all that, and with the dyno tune, you'll be running at peak performance. f**kin' sweet! Color me green with envy...
