RE: taking dash apart

all you need to do is remove the instrument cluster, two 1/4 (7mm) bolts at the topand removal of the headlight knob (the hardest part) get the bezel off. There are four torx/5mm bolts holding thecluster in. Two electrical connections later you can access the bulb.

hey. i did this just last week. There are two bolds to pop out on the top of the bezel. Then remove your lightswitch with a flathead screwdriver. You just have to fiddle around, its just a retaining clip. Then pop the outer part off and you will see the cluster is held in with four bolts. Once these are released, pull the cluster out just a few inches to gain access to the two electrical wires in the back which are also held in with retaining clips. Please dont break them. Then your going to have to wedge the steering wheel down as far as it will go, (lowest possible position must be held because it wont click in) and then pull out the cluster. The rest is straight forward. Reverse it to put it back in.
