I think the hardest part was dealing with the little space between the ground and the car.

Hey guys

I'm about to get a loudmouth Exhaust system (the first one), and I was just wondering is ithard to install it with just two people. I am not really meachanically inclined[sm=boosign.gif]but my friend kind of is. We both never did anything like this and dont really wana f**k my car up if its difficult to do (is there welding). If i go to a shop locally how much am I looking at having to pay to install it?

Also does anyone have a loudmouth? Do you like it? How does it sound? I think ima get it from americanmuscle.com for only $420 with shipping is tat a good price?

Thanks

Ilya
on my car we had to cut the stock catback off if u can run a torch u can put on a catback
or saw it off

And to answer the question about volume. Even with everything else stock, the difference is INSTANTLY noticable. You'll fall in love with your car all over again from the second you turn the key. And you'll probably keep turning it on and off just to hear it.

definitly that hardest part, if you're just using jack stands.. All in all, quite simple. don't bother struggling to keep the stock exhaust intact, just cut the little buggar. i just took mine for a ride for the first time in 6 months, just installed the x,catback and short throw and its like driving a different car.. if you're just replacing the catback, then it won't be difficult. just find yourself a sawsall(spelling). soak the bolts in pb blaster of WD40. not worth bringing to someone to put on, especially for $125, its that easy!! good luck to you.

One more installation tip. I thought the part number stickers on each pipe would eventually burn away, but after a full week I am jacking this car up in the morning and getting those things off. I can't take the smell anymore. PEEL THOSE THINGS OFF BEFORE INSTALL, THEY LAST LONGER THAN YOU THINK!!!!!!!!
