Ok guys when I bought the car the hood had been changed. It is a 99 G.T Stang. The hood that is on the car now and when I bought it of courseis one that I have no idea what make or model it came off of. It looks like the factory G.T hood from that year....BUT....Instead of the honeycomb facing the road and back towards the glass this one is facing the driver and closer to the front of the car......I know it is OEM but what make and model I have searched high and lowI know this sounds stupid, so please dont get mad but I woud like to know...because I want to order the RAM AIR SHAKER HOOD!!!I have feel in love with

Well, without having pics to show us it sounds like you may have a 02-04 6 cylinder hood.

if water drains through the honeycomb part quickly, it is the 01 cobra hood, if not it is the 02-04 v6 hood

sounds like a like a factory 03 04 v6 hood to me

or a hopefully an 04 cobra hood

That's also the 99,01 Cobra hood.

Looks better than the 99-00 hoods in my opinion.

But yea, this thread is pretty much useless without pictures.

Well guys I am sorry I didnt post any pictures, I was on my friends computer at his place and didnt have any pictures to post...But yea it look just like the first picture posted.....the ol v6 =-( hood..... dangit now I will have to def get me the ram air shaker hood...

that should not be your first priority... the shaker hood won't add power (at least none to be able to feel) and that hood actually looks fine

it looks better than the factory 99 gt hood as long as the paint is right just leave it

who cares if it's a v6 hood. they will know what kinda engine u have under there when u punch the gas

Yea that is very true...lol I love the way the haker system look not really anything for preformance though....Thank you guys alot! You all have helped me so much! I love my Stang....Would the shaker system work on that hood though?
