So I just picked up my 1st centri blown mustang.Its the Vortech Mongoose Kit from MPH as most ofyou know.Now the guy told me he used regular Mobil 1 non synthetic ( because thats what Tim had told him ), but didn't know the exact ammount or weight ..

I'm ready to change the oil now that I have it home b/c I'd like to know my own cycle via mileage and my driving habbits .. so what do you guys with vortech's use ?

Yeah, I got it a few miles south .. exit 224 of 75 .. its a nice clean car ...

and Iam keepingthe cage ... its getting put in our track car .. aka my brothers 04 gt .. I am selling the seats though ..

i know tim pretty well and used to sell him all his parts before he moved his shop. he puts valvoline 10w30 in just about everything.
with motorcraft filters

Does anyone know why he wouldn't use full synthetic with the blower .. the vortech manual says 10w30 .. but says either or on the synthetic part .. just wondering .. I'm gonna use Mobil 1 .. always have .. never had a problem you know ...

And the car is super clean .. and got a great deal on it .. 26K miles on the clock .. its an 04 and just great .. I'm trying to find out what the suspension set up is .. its the best street driven mustang I or my friends and family have owned ...

Thanks man .. I'm just curious .. cause vortech says to run 10w30 either or .. and Tim says to run just regular .. I just want to make sure its right .. and they say its the normal ammount of oil too .. which would be great b/c I wouldn't have to do anything different ..
