If I am getting power all the way back at the inertia switch (which I am) would that pretty much eliminate all other possibilities, and mean the fuel pump needed replaced?

did you check your fuel pump cutoff relay in your trunk? its on the drivers side of the trunk should be a hole in the carpet so you can feel the button, make sure its pressed in.
