Default Leaking Coolant

Got an 04 Cobra, but this pertainsto any 4.6. I have noticed a coolant leak since I flushed my radiator and put fresh coolant in. I have checked the overflow tank and radiator and those are fine. My next idea would be to check the hoses, but if those are fine what else should I check? Should I be worried if everything is fine and I'm still leaking coolant?

Thanks

Can you see where it's leaking (I'll assume no, since you're asking).. How fast is the coolant coming out?? How was it flushed, by a shop with the high pressure machine?? If so, it's possible, since I believe they force a good amount of pressure through the system, that one of the hoses could be cracked, or if they attached the machine to a hose, they didn't tighten the clamp(s) down well enough..

You can always check the petcock (I'm pretty sure these radiators have them) on the bottom of the radiator to see if that's tightened all the way..

Did you do a drain and fill or did you take it somewhere and have a powerflush done?

I did a drain and fill myself. Should I have taken it somewhere?

You did the right thing. If you took the drian plug out go back and see if it's leaking there or if you diconnected a hose do the same thing. If that looks good then just jack the front of the car up and look around the bottom of the radiator for leaks.

If its the heater core wouldnt the heat not work?

But I will look tomorrow, but when I jacked it up earlier everything seemed fine...hoses, radiator, etc.

There's not much we can do or say until you actually get out there and see if you can pin point where it's coming from.. It is true that the heat may not work if there's a leak at the core, but I'm leaning towards the idea of it being a hose that is either split or a clamp that may not be cranked down.. If you did loosen the petcock (drain screw on radiator), then you may want to check it again..
