Default RE: Oil Change

No...the only reason the suggest a 5w30 over a 10w30 is so there is less start up wear in the mornings. As far as synthetic engine oils are concerened, 5w>10w. ALWAYS. The 5w won't shear down any quicker than the 10w if it's synthetic.

IF YOU WANT SCIENCE BEHIND WHAT OIL TO USE, CHECK OUT:
https://540ratblog.wordpress.com/201...-test-ranking/
A LOT OF READING BUT HE TESTS OIL TILL IF FAILS. GOOD OIL TESTS BETTER THAN BAD OIL. HE RATES OVER 200 OILS, HE DOESN'T CARE WHAT OIL YOU USE, JUST GIVES YOU INFO ON HOW OIL PERFORMS. I WAS SURPRISED BY THE FINDINGS...IT CHANGED WHAT OIL I USED.
ALSO, IF YOU ARE ON A DESK TOP, HIT F3 AND YOU CAN ENTER A WORD SEARCH. EG 10W30, OR QUAKERSTATE.
A LOT OF INFO!!
HOPE IT HELPS!!
