Do you have an aftermarketstall? It sounds like transmission slipping but its odd that it only happens from a stop...

yea thats what im afraid of and didnt want it to be........right now everything is stock exept the 1-2 accumulator

i installed a transgo kit in it but it was stalling out on me so i got a stock valve body and put that in the car till i could look at my upgraded vb. that worked fine for 2 weeks then all of a sudden i couldnt hardly get the car in gear. it does search for gears a bit while driving like if i coast for a while but if im in the throttle it never has a problem up shifting or downshifting just up shifting and getting into gear from a stop

I'm thinking it's not the torque converter though, since reverse works fine, and once it gets going it's shifting fine and power is there...

I'd say, if I were to take a stab at this, that the accumulator or pump is failing...

thanks yall

well any other thoughts on it. yea reverse works perfectly fine. i may try and rebuild the accumulators even thou i really dont want to. maybe i can get them back to stock. maybe that is the problem. right now i have a stiffer and rebuild accumulator with the stock valve body
