<sigh> Here we go again... Well, I have the K&N FIPK. Picked it up for around $200 online. Densechargers are good too, but again, I went with the K&N FIPK (FIPK is about $50 more that then Densechargers, which are around $150). (I’ve always run K&N products on my cars, trucks and motorcycles and never had any bad luck/experiences.)

I’d say that both are pretty good, but enter the differences of opinions:

>Some will argue that FIPK sucks hot air out of the engine bay and the Densecharger sucks cold air from the fender well, therefore the Densecharger is a better system.
>Others will argue that the extra bend in the Densecharger makes the FIPK better (i.e., reduced turbulence).

Both are good in my opinion, and there are several others our there as well. One thing, don’t expect HUGE gains, it’s not like your getting blown. I will say this, if you do plan to get a supercharger down the road, I’d probably recommend Densecharger.

You can also do a search on CAI’s, which will yield a TON of info and opinions (that’s what I did before making my decision).

I'd go with exhaust first, I'd say it's a pretty good guess you don't have any other mods? I thought the same thing when I wanted to start modding my GT.

What about a throttle body, what would be my best choice and does a throttle body spacer help at all?

Yep, I wanted an intake and throttle body for my first two mods when I started exploring this website. Definately go exhaust first. If you wanna really mod your stang go with a full exhaust: headers, midpipe, and catback system. You'll gain 25+ hp and sound amazing. I wish I had gotten longtubes...

I think Demolet, aka Densecharger (http://www.demolet.com/), offers a package deal (Stage 5 kit f I'm not mistaken). You might consider this as a "one stop shop" if your intent on getting TB, Plenum, MAF, & Carbon Fiber CAI all at once for roughly $500 (a fair deal).

That’s the route that I’d take if I could do it over…
