new 3650
Dealership called me today. My new trans has arrived.
I have an '03 GT with about 15,000 miles on it and the 5 speed has had a vibration at high RPM in 3rd and 4th since I got it new. They did the TSB which replaces the syncros and 1 - 3 gears TWICE and it didn't help. I have replaced the throwout bearing and pilot bearing and put in a FRPP racing clutch and pressure plate.
They finally decided to put a whole new trans in it......FINALLY.
Hope it works.
From what I have seen, plenty of people with the 3650 have had problems. I have 4.10s and exhaust on my car and the Steeda tri-ax shifter and the trans is still being covered under full warranty.......just so people know that aftermarket parts DO NOT necessarily void the warranty.

right on man, im on my 2nd tranny with 2 rebuilds on it so far. 15,000miles or 15,000 kms? i have an 02 gt with a triaxe and magnapacks, with 65,000kms. have warranty on tranny until 2007 or 100,000kms.
i still grind 2nd when its cold, but not now cause shes warmer, yea. I probably wont have my stang by the time warranty is up anyways.
