I bought my 96Gt last year off of Ebay. It was from a dealership in Houston. I paid $4900 and it had 106K miles on it. I flew down to Houston and drove it back to St. Louis (15hrs) with no problems. So far I have only had to put new tires on, a new battery and and an alternator. Runs strong. My very first mods are gonna be 3.73's and full exhaust. Good luck and enjoy your car.

I bought my 98 two years ago, get this 54,XXX miles, and perfect interior and exterior, 6500. Its an auto but I couldn't pass up that deal. It was an older mans car and he just said he bought just to cruise around in, and now he was getting a new cobra. I told him that when he wants to sell the cobra in 4 or 5 years to give me a call, I know he will sell it cheap. Everything this guy owns just stays immaculate.

I have a '98 triple black GT vert with 44,000 miles. Bought it two years ago with just 36,000 and a woman driver owned it. Never run hard. I guess I was lucky with the miles but had to buy it from a dealer so got a little porked there. Convertibles sell for more and hold more value over time so I had to pay a good buck for it. But, with only 36,000 miles, I suppose it was worth it.
