My friend has a 98 Gt and when accell in 1st and 2nd somtimes will act like a miss fire. He always tells me me to take a look at it, and sometimes i wont feel ne thing, and sometimes it happends once. He said sometimes it wont happen for days and somtimes a lot in a day. its when there is a load kinda sputters for a few sec then goes away. Hard to fully explain since i have only really felt/hurd it like 1-2 times.

Im thinking its some kinda short to ground in plug wires somewhere?

i dont think its a fuel problem since its so random things shoudnt be clogged. ne 1 have ne input?
