SS lines
I had my Hawk pads put on today and was set to get the SS lines put on but the bracket on the back rear of the calipers is square and the SS lines have a round end. My installer didn't want to put them on because he says they will work themsselfs loose because there isn't anything locking them in.
I'm tempted to try it for myself but his logic sees right despite assurances from my supplier who says the part should fit.
Does any one have any ideas? Thanks

RE: SS lines
No my uncle isn't a idiot he's old school. He knowes what he's doing when it comes to auto's. I'm pretty sure I'm the fastest car he's put brakes on and he just shook his head when I told him how much I paid for the Hawk pads.
He made the observation without taking the stock banjo fitting off. Old school thinking "how will the round end stay locked and secure in a square block without it working it's self loose"?
BTW thanks for the info.

RE: SS lines
Hey toot, i had the same concern when i put SS lines on the front. Over a year later and it still holds strong!! Just use new crush washers and torque properly like said above it will be fine.
