Gotcha.. Well, I guess you could check the spindle, as I don't think I've ever heard of a factory vehicle, that hasn't been in an accident or blunt force trauma, that camber would go that out of whack, especially in a positive direction, and not be able to be adjusted with the factory hardware in place.. I guess it is possible, I just don't see how it would go that out of specs... I also don't understand how the tire could be ****-eyed and still in specs.. Maybe he didn't have the heads on the wheel correctly, or maybe he just didn't do a thorough job in the alignment, and wants to charge for extra labor?? I don't know, but I'd personally take it to another shop to see what they have to say...

A second opinion never hurt anyone..

"I also don't understand how the tire could be ****-eyed and still in specs"That bothered me too, also if the aligment is within spec why all the blather about "...'make new holes' because the factory ones wouldnt fix the condition"--what "condition", I thought the alignment was in spec?

Yeh again I wasnt there, I told her to take it somewhere else and have them check it. I also didnt understand the it is within spec but the tire is cockeyed. Only thing I can assume he meant by 'in spec' is the toe is correct, but the camber is out and cant be corrected. I dont really think he was out to charge extra as he didnt charge her anything because they didnt have to do any work to it, but who knows. Im gonna crawl under it this weekend and see if I can visually see anything tweaked or worn.

Why cant it be easy like on my solid front axle truck where the only adjustment is the toe-in, lol.

Not a bad idea, but something like this, may not be visible.. Does that car drive/track straight on flat roads?? You may want to elevate the car, and get a pry bar in between some of the components and see if you can wiggle them, or move them around in any way.. That and wiggle the tires back and forth to check tie-rods while you're at it..
