Default 26.5 mpg

just wanted to share this with everyone, kinda proud of myself. last week i almost killed myself by driving the speed limit and shifting under 2k rpm. the best gas milage id gotten prior to then was 24.9 mpg. after last week i blew that out of the water. i never would have thought that i would get to 26 much less 26.5 mpg. never went over 60 mph but once to pass someone who was running 40. with gas prices the way they are i was looking for something to help. what is the best mpg you have gotten? ive got a 2000 gt.

thanks

Best I ever got was 28 mpg. All flat straight highway going between 65 - 70 mph. I drive a PI swapped tuned '96 GT with light bolt on's.
