1/8mile time?
I have a 2003 gt with a procharger running 8 psi and assorted bolts on'swhat time should I be running? My suspension is stock. Tires out back are 315/30's. I have ran it at the track before on sh!tty tires andchripped the tiresall the way through 1st and was at 8.5-8.7's with a 2.2-2.4 60' time. I am hoping the newwheels andrubber will improve my times. Btw theyare street tires not DR's. HP dyoned at 375. Since then I have replaced the clutch with SPEC unit and alum. flywheel. I am hoping for a higher trap speed also, tell me your thoughts.

Also, +1 on drag radials. You arn't likely to get far without em. Just find some cheap *** (or free) stock V6 15 inch wheels, and grab some MT ET streets for the track only.

What about my stock rear end and living 30 miles from the track, is it going to be a risk? If so I would rather keep the steet tires on and my et suffer. I cant afford to rebuild my rear at this moment. Just replaced the clutch last month and I am still paying it off.

Is your car your DD? How many miles do you put on it? Even as a DD tire, the nittos are pretty good, and last around 10-12K miles.
You could still get the MT drag radials, and just take it easy at the track. What breaks rearends is the 4500+ RPM clutch dumps on sticky surfaces.

Yeah its a Daily Driver, I put about 5k miles a year on it give or take.I driveabout 50 miles a week.Right now I have sumi's, on they came as part of a wheel and tires package. They hook really good, at least compared to the old wore out tires that I was used to. Basically tiresaregoing tomaking or break my ET at this point, correct? Also as stated above suspension is still stock (for now). Besides tires what else is an easy way tosee a drop of my ET? About the wheels you stated, what exact size would I need?Would thefactory wheels fit a wide enoough DR to be worth the money? I know a factory wheels is 17x8 on mybody style, with that said the MAX would be a 275.And if Iused 15'slike you said wouldntthe tireseven smaller? Just spell it out for me, like you need a 15 inch wheel off of this exactcar, with this exacttire size, otherwise I get confused. What would the price difference be for just a rear set of15inch Weld's with a good DR's compared to a cheap set of 15's off whatever car youwere mentioning with a good DR's? Also would LCA's improve my ET enoughfor the install to bemerited?

if you play at the track either have a trailor on stand by or haul it up there trust me i drove mine 45min. to the track and C-clip came off my axlwe and went through my gears and i had to call around to find a trailor and have them haul it to my house, not verry fun.

D/R's and suspension mods are definately needed in your situation! You have plenty of power to be in the 7's, you just need to hook. My car runs 8.6's in the 1/8th and it can't be making more than240 rwhp.
