Default Got my Magnaflow catback on ...

just thought I'd bring it to others attention. I only had one complaint/issue. The clamps on the tailpipes wouldn't clamp tight enough. When I got it installed last night everything seemed good and tight, so I took it for a little drive, and still everything seemed okay, but when I got to work this morning one of the tailpipes was loose, and I'm still not sure what kept it from falling off... Fortunately I work in a stainless steel fab shop, so I was able to easily cut the clamps back a little, and now everything is just fine...

Just thought I'd let everyone know in case you don't have a full shop at hand...

BTW, what do you guys do with your stock exhaust. Is there any market for them, or do you just haul them off to the dump/scrap metal recyclers?

you can sell your old stock exhaust and get like 50-85 for the catback. same with the H. v6 owners buy those right up. cheap way to make dual exhaust.

Do you have a cutoff wheel? electric or pneumatic? A hacksaw will also work, but would take longer and be harder to hold, but still would work in a pinch. I just used a vertical band saw here in the shop... took off about 3/16" from the non-threaded side...

If nothing else get a file and coke, and get comfortable...
