You can buy a crate motorfor easy install or build from the block up depends on time andmoney you have to spend on it.

ok the story on the car is i got the car from a dealer about a 2 mounths ago when i pull off the lot and was on my way home with it it start to knock so i took it back and he said it was a lifter and he fix it well i was ok with that so they put new lifters in it and still did it and it was not really a knock more like a tick like a stuck lifter so i took itto a guy my dad knows and he took the motor out and it had 3 bad rods and the crank was bad and the heads he says some one try tore do it be for sucks right. well i gave him 600$ for new rods and crank and the dealer said they pay for the heads and the labor well its been 2 mounths and i have not seen any of the parts and im geting sick of him liying so im thanking about just geting a motor and puting it in my self at this point i dont really care i just need a car.

Theres a crate engine on ebay for 99-04 mustangs, but says you can use it on 96-98 mustang with the stock wiring harness. That would be a good one to buy since it already has PI heads and intake on it. I think it was like $3000.
