Go with the programer. Chips have to be sent back to the tuner for changes. Programer they can just send you a file via email. Also with most programers you can datalog your car and see whats going on. Chips are good for fox bodies cars. But with the OBD11 programer.

This will be my next purchase as soon as i get rid of my predator. Chips are limited to what they can do. You have so much more control withthe sniper.

Depends if you're looking for adjustability and cost. You can get a chip for half the price of the tuner but you're stuck with the tune forever unless you reprogram it or get a new chip.
