Default Racing Seats + Harnesses in near stock 99+ GT's?

What are you're feelings on them, I was thinking about picking up a black pair(black harnesses too if i could get them so it completely matches my interior, but red would be fine too). Would they make me that much safer? I am leaning more towards a few appearance, safety, and suspension mods before i get deeper into performance mods(performance mods can wait i have my whole life to go fast)..i want to get a better handle of my car before it gets too powerful for its own good. Thoughts?

Do it. They look really nice. Recaro has probably the best, if you're willing to pay. Saleen uses those when they upgrade interior in their cars....just my $.02

yea i just want to find something stylish and comfortable.

I was looking at COBRA seats, but 1000+ PER SEAT is ridiculous IMO

Now im looking at sparco http://performancecenter.com/product...o+Monza+Seats/

and corbeau http://performancecenter.com/products/?productID=230663

any suggestions?

hm i just looked on their site and the good seats seemed more expensive than performancecenter.com i might end up buying from a shop so they can make rails and all for me. I'm not too in-depth when it comes to fabricating..[:@]

I hear racing seats give you 15 hp to the wheels!! lol Dude, don't waste your money on seats, spend it on mods. You don't need that much safety until you really get some hp. Start getting some performance mods and that will be all you want to do. You will totally forget about seats.

I like the look and your car doesn't need massive HP to die, you can crash a Kia Rio into a tree doesn't make a dif. how fast it is. I want some cause my butt slides around too much now if I take turns too hard I can't push in the clutch cause I'm thrown to the other side of the seat. I was looking at a set but it's expensive if your try to match leather interior cuase the leather racing seats aren't cheap, but IMO go for it, it will look sweet and be nice and comfy.
