so i have been looking at sum hoods, now i know that carbon fiber is about the best u can get as far as wieght reduction goes but fiberglass is alot cheaper and a complete cowl induction hood wieghs bout 27 lbs does anyone know how much the carbon fiber hood wieghs i cant seem to find a wieght with the product

i do believe most fiberglass hoods are closer to 20 lbs. but as far as bang for the buck, and variety, id go fiberglass.

If your just getting it for weight reduction, you do know the stock hood is fiberglass. If for looks I would go with fiberglass easier to paint.
