Idle is controlled by the IAC. The screw that you took out isn't much more than a stop. It leaves the intake open just a tiny bit to prevent a vacuum lock at idle. A vacuum lock will causethe acceleratorto stick whenyou slowlyaccelerate from idle. When I put on a new throttle body, the accelerator would stick with the engine warmed up at idle but not with the engine off. I turned that screw 1/16th of a turn to fix the problem.
