Default Remote trunk

Hey guys, I just picked up a 99GT today. The remote locks/horn all work but the trunk doesn't. The trunk release in the glove compartment works, and when I press the trunk button on the remote I can hear a click coming from under the steering column. Anyone have an idea as to how to fix this? Its obviously not the remote, not the trunk relase.. So Im assuming the module in the car itself...

.... No one has any ideas? Where the module is for the remote? What may be wrong, loose wire? No one else has this problem?

Try replacing the luggage release relay.

Heres your diagram... From what I can tell by looking, I'd try that first.. Since the button in the trunk and the actual latch works. I;d say thats the only culprit. The relay is only there to work when you hit the button on the RKE...

Thanks, that definately sounds like that could be the problem. I can hear the relay clicking, but maybe it gets stuck half way or something. I looked by the fuses but couldnt see anything. Does anyone know exactly where it would be?

Never mind. I found the relay hidden behind the fuse panel.
