well that's a little relief for me. it goes into gear a lot quicker than the stock one, it just requires more force to do so. it slides right to the gear though. it had 2000 miles on it from the guy i bought it from.

i had bad experiences today with my shifter.. i grinded like 4 times. [:@][:@] i dont know what it is... i had the clutch pedal to the ground and it just grinded when i shifted, dont know whats going on. happened to me going into 2nd once, downshifting into 2nd once, and then also upshifting into 4th once. just i dont get it?

it should be broken in pretty well then probably. it will require more force to go into gear though.

Yea it is going to take some more effort because of the less leverage (like previously stated), but the shifts are SO much faster when you get used to it. As long as you give it a good throw, missing third is impossible. Every shift lines up great.

i didn't miss third, i'm just used to the stock one and i can just gently push it in with my finger if i had to (which i don't see me needing to do that exactly ). it just caught me off guard when i threw it in and it spat it back out at me saying F-U DAVE! I'M NOT GOIN THERE! i was like "HOLY SHAT! MY SHIFTER SPOKE TO ME". ok, maybe it didn't happen exactly like that, but it did speak to me.
