ported heads?
 

i have 1998 cobra. i already have exhaust, 4.10s, intake and a chip. i dont want to get nitrous/supercharger so i was wondering if porting my heads would make a a notciable difference? Also around how much to get this done?

you are looking at 600 to 1000 dollars for the porting alone, and probably another 1,000 for pulling your heads off and putting them back on again with new gaskets bolts etc... unless you do it yourself. as far as performance, you won't gain much. cobra heads flow very well, even with cams porting doesnt do much since the stock heads flow well. with full bolt ons, cams and a dyno tune, porting might add 10-20 rwhp. you'd make close to 350 whp with a combo like that.
