i dont have any experience about the front, but i've had both falken and nitto 275/40/17 (just so you know, the speedoreads the same on 275/40 as 245/45) on the back with absolutly no problems. Why exactly do you want 275's on the front?

i have 275's on all four corners and i rubs some w/ the wheel hard over but thats more because its lowered than because of the tires. and personally i just wanted the grip all the way around not just in back. but its up to u bro.

why would you want to stagger them for minimal grip difference? I would go w/ 265s at all four cornersso u can rotate your tires and they will last twice as long. Staggeredis nice if yougo really wide in the rear. But to answer your ? it will work.
